The successful Shopper and Trade Marketing Manager will have the following key responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of shopper and trade marketing strategies, programs and tools that are consumer and customer focused, driving brand positioning aligned with commercial objectives. These programs and tools support both retail and on-premise accounts and trade shows.
- Provide relevant insights and research to support understanding and evaluation of key shopper and trade tools including the fast-emerging retailer media landscape, and more traditional tools including point-of-sale, racks, event materials, and trade incentives.
- Translate the insights and research to compelling activity to grow the category and address shopper, account and trade needs.
- Collaborate with our Sales Team to support and consult on programming and promotion and incentive planning to help ensure optimal comprehensive plans.
- Provide analyses and post program evaluation including perspective and recommendations on key business drivers, challenges, and new strategies. Translate successes into compelling selling stories for the future.
- Manage and optimize investment including spending within budget, appropriate budget tracking and invoice management.
How do I qualify?
- The successful Shopper & Trade Marketing Manager will have 5-7 years of shopper and trade marketing experience and execution with a non-alcoholic beverage brand and DSD/Distributor Management experience.
- Experience with super premium brands a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and proven experience evaluating different options, providing recommendations, and analyzing results with learning for the future. This includes experience/capabilities with IRI/Nielsen data.
- Preferred work location in New York, Los Angeles, or Miami.
- Ability to travel occasionally (< 10%).
