This multi-channel role will manage Trinity River Distillery’s consumer facing on and off premise sales force to expand the distribution and promotional support of Silver Star and Devil’s Grin products. The Market Manager will collaborate with leadership to develop distributor channel volume targets, KPI’s, and new business opportunities. Additionally, the person in this role will serve as the local face of the brand and support special events and local PR on behalf of Silver Star and Devil’s Grin in an assigned geographical territory.
·        Manage and oversee Off/On Premise universe to achieve increased distribution, key performance indicators, NSV, and channel specific growth goals of Silver Star and Devil’s Grin products.

·        Manage T&E budgets associated with Off/On Premise Business.

·        Actively manage the presentation and execution of category plans, brand plans, promotion, and new product introductions.

·        Maintain brand guidelines/standards for all consumer-facing promotion.

·        Develop new off premise volume opportunities with distributor teams to include new distribution, display activity, local seasonal programming, and shelf management.

·        Develop new product distribution, menu promotions, signature drink promotions and premium wells for the on-premise channel.

·        Work with distributor sales forces to monitor progress and ensure goals are achieved.

·        Manage and call on a designated number of key accounts by channel with sole responsibility for expanding distribution and volume on priority brands/sizes.

·        Successfully launch innovation and line extensions, achieving volume and distributions KPI’s.

·        Conduct frequently in market tasting. 

·        Successfully manage local execution of all retail and on-premises events.

·        Prepare sales training and communication, to distributor sales force in areas of brand. trend awareness seasonal programming, regional partnerships, and innovation.

·        Work with the team to provide wait staff training at key accounts.

·        Ensure all efforts and sales involvement comply with state and federal laws.

·        Manage POS allocation by channel with distributors.

 
 
Qualifications & Experience
 

·        Exceptional communication skills-we are looking for storytellers who can garner advocacy for our brands.

·        Exceptional planning and self-management skills.

·        Thorough knowledge of distribution, promotion and selling techniques.

·        Sales experience, including experience selling promotion and marketing programs.

·        Literate with spreadsheet programs (such as Excel & Google), word processing programs (such as Word), presentation programs (such as PowerPoint) and communication programs (such as G-Mail).

·        Previous wholesaler experience preferred.

·        The ability to work non-traditional hours.

·        Experience in spirits industry is preferred.

·        Licensed driver of motor vehicles.

·        Must be able to lift 50 pounds. 

·        It is preferred that the candidate for this role currently resides in the assigned territory.
