Requirements:
- 3 years of restaurant management experience.
- Knowledge of the NYC beer, wine, and liquor industry, with a preference for familiarity with New York State made beverages.
- Availability to work weekends and flexibility to manage restaurant staff efficiently.
- Experience with coffee and cappuccino service is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and master industry-specific inventory management and point of sale systems.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Brewery staff to facilitate orders for the taproom.
- Supervise a team of 10 or more taproom employees, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service.
- Manage inventory and procurement of food, beer, wine, liquor, and supplies.
- Develop monthly and weekly schedules for taproom employees.
- Organize entertainment and festivals throughout the year.
- Conduct regular staff training sessions on beverages and service standards.
- Analyze weekly revenue and prepare breakdowns for review.
- Collaborate with accounting team to manage daily finances and employee tips.
- Maintain regular communication with staff to address scheduling and operational needs.
- Assist social media team in executing marketing initiatives.
- Foster a cohesive relationship between taproom and brewery production teams.
- Maintain a clean facility and workplace.
Compensation:
- Base salary ranging from $45,000 to $65,000, excluding tips earned during mandatory bar shifts.
- Bonus incentive available for successfully hitting predetermined revenue goals.
