We are seeking a positive, dedicated, passionate human to join our colorful team as a Partnership and Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our partnerships, influencer and ambassador program, overall team project management, events, and product launches/marketing campaigns.

SuperMush is a LA-based mental wellness lifestyle brand inspired by the 60s and 70s that creates superfood mushroom supplements and media. SuperMush bottled mushrooms' magic into delicious mouth sprays, gummies, and mints, so you can take the good vibrations anywhere your heart desires. SuperMush has been called “The Redbull of Mushrooms” and in just 2 years has built a viral 400k following across social channels, hosted 75+ IRL events with 6k attendees, across the U.S., and is backed by founders of Thrive Market, Netflix, Hu, Zumba, and more.

SuperMush's media arm is @intothemultiverse. Their popular psychedelics and mental health podcast Into The Multiversebrings on globally-acclaimed artists, creatives, doctors, therapists, and thought leaders across wellness, mental health, consciousness, and psychedelics (previous guests: Rick Doblin, Gabby Reece, Charlotte McKinney, Devon Levesque, Noah Cyrus).

Our nonprofit: Microdosing Collective - the first nonprofit focused on education and legal policy change for microdosing psychedelics.

🌎 Conceptual "day in the life" of this unique role...
Set team call agenda, update KPIs on notion, follow up with all pending artist and brand partnerships, brainstorm and outreach to new collaborators for SuperMush (merch, product collabs, unique festival collabs), end-to-end event coordination for SuperMush community event (bike ride's, paint parties), figure out a way to make a giant blow up mushroom for upcoming festival, work with social team to ensure collabs posting, book podcast guests for @intothemultiverse, spend some time DREAMING BIG and way out of the box for unique partnerships, engage SuperMush ambassador team, eat some daily energy gummies & flow mints to stay in the zone ✌️👽.


🌈 Responsibilities:
  1. Partnership & Collabs Management: 
    • Examples of previous collaborations HERE
    • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with relevant brands, organizations, influencers, and artists to enhance our brand positioning and reach.
    • Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
    • Manage funnel & create plan + timeline for partnership / collab launch
    • Maintain strong relationships with partners, providing support and guidance to maximize partnership outcomes.
    • Evaluate partnership performance and ROI, continuously optimizing strategies for maximum impact.
    • GOAL: 2 new partnership/collabs per month
  2. Influencer and Ambassador Program: 
    • Current SuperMush ambassador fam HERE - looking to add more gen z, vibe aligned artists, athletes, and influencers.
    • Identify and recruit influencers and ambassadors aligned with our brand values and target audience.
    • Develop and execute influencer and ambassador strategies to increase brand visibility and credibility.
    • Coordinate influencer/ambassador collaborations, including content creation, events, and promotions, whitelisting, streetwear or product collabs, guest on our podcast, part of our content series.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired results.
    • Manage affiliate program - making sure our influencers and ambassadors share their discount codes to increase sales & recruiting more affiliates.
    • GOALS:
      • 4 new big ambassadors per month
      • 50 affiliate sales total per month
      • 10 new affiliate sales per month
  3. Events Management: 
    • Plan, organize, and execute various events, including SuperMush events, ITM events, and help coordinate getting products to events we sponsor.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event logistics and execution.
    • Create engaging event experiences that resonate with attendees and align with brand objectives.
    • Secure event product sponsors (from our community list) & cash sponsors when needed.
    • Evaluate event success metrics and provide post-event analysis and recommendations for future improvements.
  4. Podcast Guest Booking: 
    • Manage the process of identifying, reaching out to, and booking guests for our podcast.
    • Research potential guests who align with our podcast's theme and target audience.
    • Reach out to prospective guests, pitching the podcast and arranging interview schedules.
    • Coordinate logistics for podcast recordings with our filmer.
    • Oversee launch of episode on our channels (with social manager) and get approvals from guests for sharing.
  5. Product Launches/Marketing Campaigns: 
    • Lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns for product launches and brand initiatives.
    • Manage launch project timeline + task list for launching across all channels (website, socials, influencer gifting, PR, email, sms).
    • Collaborate with team to ensure campaign alignment and success.
  6. Admin & Project Management
    • This position is responsible for project management of our team KPIs, maintenance of notion trackers, creation of new project templates, and ensuring consistent follow through with all partner communications.
    • Create weekly agendas for team calls.
    • Update and manage all project tracking sheets.
    • Update and manage vendor tracker sheet.
    • Update and manage product gifting sheet.
    • Check in with core team, contractors, and interns.
✌️Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 3-4 years FT work experience (ideally within CPG, community-building, marketing)
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience in partnership management, influencer marketing, events planning, and marketing campaign execution.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to forge and maintain partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to craft compelling marketing content.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a track record of driving innovative marketing initiatives.
  • Passionate about mental health, and prioritizes taking care of their own
The Right Candidate has...
  • Passion for all things mushroom
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience (ideally within CPG, community-building, marketing)
  • Experience with Notion, Gorgias, Geneva, and Shopify a plus
  • Experience with social channels such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Must be highly-skilled in planning, organizing, prioritizing, delegating, and supervising
  • Thrives in entrepreneurial environment - can be scrappy, creative and resourceful while also building structure and processes
  • Strong copywriting/email communication skills
  • Passionate about health and wellness. Committed to personal growth with a strong self-care practice to manage stress
  • Passion for community-building and event production. We love to host and surround ourselves with inspiring and creative humans! Community is a huge part of our brand and will be a focal point of everything we do going forward (preferred)
  • Hyper-organized and talented at managing many moving pieces. Multitasking will be a constant! Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Exceptional organizational and personal time management techniques, critical attention to detail and follow-up
  • Fast learner, “no task is too small” attitude. Willing to be in the weeds with founding team and be scrappy within tight timeframes to meet deliverables
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team, flat structure environment
