Role Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Sr Manager, Plant Engineer contributes to the success of overall plant operations by directing and managing engineering roles and facilities maintenance functions. Key areas of focus include improving overall equipment reliability and performance enhancement. This leader will scope, coordinate, develop project plans & documentation for approval, and execute capital and major maintenance projects; will act as a technical resource for the plant and will support & drive continuous improvement by empowering direct reports and hourly employees to meet the production requirements daily across a high-volume plant. The Sr Manager, Plant Engineer must have a strategic focus, implement, and execute a strategy of continuous improvement aligned with lean manufacturing methodology. The Sr Manager, Plant Engineer has accountability for providing a safe environment which produces the highest quality products while improving employee engagement and operational efficiencies. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience to include mechanical, electrical, pumping, and piping applications; electrical distribution; machine and process control; material aptitude; and knowledge of electrical systems; including experience should specifically have been in a plant engineering role
Prior project management experience, including producing deliverables according to stringent timelines
Strong analytical ability, including knowledge to interpret engineering and other technical documents
Demonstrated leadership skills, including previous experience in a management or supervisory role leading people
Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, principles and successful implementation
Demonstrated experience using problem-solving skills - both technical and non-technical
Good working knowledge of environmental regulations as they pertain to plant operations
Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Familiarity with beverage packaging equipment
Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with specialized applications, such as PLC, CAD, CMMS programming, SAP & AS400
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering is required. MBA preferred.
