Material Planner

Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate with production planning, operations, engineering, purchasing, and quality to attain production goals.
- Responsible for providing materials for short-term and long-term production plan. Highlight materials constraints, assess, and communicate impacts, and take appropriate actions in line with global policy.
- Manage inventory level for packaging changes and ensure availability for innovation projects.
- Communicate needs and timing to Vendor and resolve capacity issues by prioritizing scheduling and suggestions.
- Update Supplier tracking and other metrics as identified.
- Analyze changing material demand patterns.
- Work with Operations to determine, research, and correct material inventory discrepancy issues and causes.
- Responsible for the development, creation, and communication of various S&OP reports

Qualifications
- 4-year college degree preferred/relevant experience considered
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Minimum 3 years of relevant planning/project management; preferably within the food/beverage industry
- SAP and/or MRP-driven system experience
- APICS certification preferred
- Analytically inclined - able to merge large data sets, analyze data, synthesize business insight and clearly communicate findings.
