Overview
The role is responsible for the processes primarily associated with how we support and enable supplier operational activities at SGWS. They are empowered and accountable for ensuring the processes efficiency, coordination across the appropriate GBPOs and BPLs, standardization where possible, and ultimately driving the strategic enterprise priorities. This role will foster an insight-driven, outcome-focused and learning-led approach to how we manage the change agenda, ensuring the key projects deliver their promised value levers, such as revenue generation, productivity improvements and cost optimization.

Primary Responsibilities
- Establish clear policies and procedures that meet legal and regulatory, requirements. Ensure the implementation of a review and monitoring process that assesses compliance across key areas
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across the enterprise to define and develop relevant sales strategies and processes in line with enterprise goals, communicate process goals, provide expertise on dependencies of other functions, and address concerns or feedback from sales agents, suppliers, and customers
- Design, test and introduce new capabilities (e.g., advanced analytics for supplier value add)
- Identify trends/issues and develop relevant KPIs to improve performance and reduce errors, eliminate processes not meeting company goals
- A relentless focus on proactively identifying areas to optimize commercial processes, leveraging feedback from stakeholders, and integrating tech capabilities
- Work closely with IT teams to support the blueprint and roadmap for new technology and automation launches that affect sales directly or indirectly (e.g., enhancement of Proof)
- Assures programs are working within the guiderails of Transformation standards, SGWS strategic vision, methods, and governance
- Work with key functional and program leads to define and refresh roadmaps for each of the core Transformation initiatives, with clear, measurable KPIs
Additional Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of portfolio level governance that fosters agility, innovation and enables rapid decision-making.
- Facilitate a portfolio review / Investment Committee to drive enterprise-level project portfolio prioritization
- Generate a strategic pipeline of transformation opportunities, by working with key stakeholders across IT and the Business to prioritize and mobilize any associated projects
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in the distribution industry with a good understanding of the regulatory environment
- Experience in a commercial Ops/Strategy/Marketing leadership role with strong supplier relationship management background
- Experience of progressive process improvement and project management experience, including medium to large-scale projects
- Knowledge of SGWS supplier management and marketing processes
- Experience in organizing and executing marketing initiatives and managing large funds and resources
- Basic understanding of enabling technology to support business needs
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, and 5+ years of experience in portfolio management
- Experience in large scale complex change management programs, with a strong finance or investment background
- Good understanding of the organization strategy as well as the transformation intent

- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
- Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
