This National Accounts Mixologist will be the key person for all recipe and drink strategy development for Pernod Ricard USA Corporate, and its National and Regional Chains. This position will be a part of the Trade Advocacy team and includes working with brand teams, field sales/marketing, Channel Shopper team, and the National On-Premise Chains team for all recipe development projects, trends research and analysis, new innovations, and other cocktail/spirits-related requests.
This role will be employed by Sidecar Drinks, Pernod Ricard USA’s Trade Advocacy agency, but will represent Pernod Ricard externally.

Role Responsibilities
- Lead and develop commercial drink strategies for national on-premise chains and channel needs.
- Test new cocktail projects and equipment, and provide consultation of bartender tools and POS.
- Bring relevance of new trends to National Accounts and make them scalable.
- Customize presentations/demos and present them to National Account meetings.
- Serve as the point person for National Accounts to communicate Corporate initiatives and strategies.
- Drive training initiatives for chain customers.
- Be the key contact for brand drink recipe requests.
- Develop field guides that clearly outline the approved drink strategies, recipes, tools, and POS.
- Act as the main ambassador for brand flagship events (e.g. launch events), press engagements, and other media requests as the “face of our brands” across the portfolio.
- Participate in early-stage innovations planning in line with brand plans.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the spirits industry with an emphasis on bartending/mixology and cocktail recipe development.
- Brand Ambassador and/or sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry is a plus.
- 4-year degree preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of distilled spirits.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail-making tools and techniques, beyond standard bar equipment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience with event coordination and execution.
- A strong self-starter who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and respect commitments.
- Technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel (approx. 30% travel).
- A valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record with reliable transportation.
Applicants must be 21+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S. This job has some physical requirements, including carrying and lifting boxes, reaching overhead, bending down, and frequent standing and walking. Normal visual, hearing, and language acuity is required for correspondence and computer usage.
Annual Salary & Compensation
- $85,000 - $95,000 (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
- Additional compensation: $300/month stipend for misc. job-related costs such as cell phone, internet, car, and gas
