Role Overview
As our Brand Ambassador and Sales Representative, you will be the embodiment of our craft and heritage, selectively introducing our rare expressions to Los Angeles' most distinguished venues and influential tastemakers. This position requires someone who understands the art of cultivating meaningful relationships, possesses profound knowledge of premium spirits, and appreciates the nuanced approach required when representing an ultra-limited, luxury spirits brand.
Primary Responsibilities
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with Los Angeles' most influential beverage directors, mixologists, and premium on-premise establishments
- Orchestrate intimate, educational tastings that authentically convey our mother-daughter heritage and meticulous production methods
- Implement our highly selective allocation strategy, offering our limited production exclusively to venues that align with our brand ethos
- Manage the allocation process, ensuring our bottles are strategically placed for maximum brand impact
- Gather detailed feedback from accounts and consumers to inform future production and allocation decisions
- Maintain ongoing relationships with key accounts to manage reorders within our limited availability constraints
- Provide sophisticated brand education, including production methods, flavor profiles, and cocktail applications to staff at selected partner establishments
- Develop bespoke strategies for each account that enhance our brand narrative while driving selective placements
- Identify and engage with influential industry personalities who can amplify our story authentically
- Maintain meticulous records of market activities, account relationships, and depletion rates through our CRM system
- Provide thoughtful market intelligence on emerging trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities within the premium spirits landscape
Qualifications
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Must be 21 years or older
- 2-4 years demonstrated sales experience, preferably in premium spirits, wine, or craft beverages
- Previous experience in distinguished on-premise establishments, luxury hospitality, or premium portfolio representation
- Experience as a Bartender, Mixologist, Beverage Director, or Specialist Spirits Representative is highly regarded
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite for sophisticated presentation development and communication
- Must reside in Los Angeles with access to reliable transportation
- Must possess valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle with impeccable driving record
- Willing to travel throughout Los Angeles metropolitan area to cultivate relationships with premium accounts
- Physical capability to transport and present our product with elegance (lifting and arranging cases)
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays, as needed
- Meticulous attention to compliance standards and regulatory requirements
Additional Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 1-2+ years' experience collaborating with premium spirits distributors
- Demonstrate exceptional poise, sophistication, and authentic passion for artisanal spirits
- Ability to articulate complex production methods and flavor nuances to discerning audiences
- Exhibit refined urgency, impeccable organization, and genuine relationship-building capabilities
- Develop and present compelling content using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel)
- This is a part-time, contract position offering flexibility with clear path to growth
- Compensation includes competitive hourly wage plus commission incentive structure
- Expected engagement of 10 hours weekly focused on strategic market development
- Execute our curated sales strategy with precision, collaborating with District Manager level influencers
- Provide insightful market analysis and thoughtful competitive intelligence through our CRM system
- Deliver refined weekly recaps detailing market conditions, account developments, and strategic opportunities
- Collaborate elegantly with team members, sharing best practices and coordinating market initiatives
- Remain attuned to evolving market dynamics and competitive landscape
- Thoughtfully evaluate personal performance against established objectives
