Position Summary:  Rosaluna Sales Managers retain ownership over ensuring Rosaluna’s vision and messaging are clear, consistent, and effective in all sales-related activities. This role is responsible for the execution of Mezcal Rosaluna’s commercial strategic imperatives within Los Angeles, CA, which include:  
  • Work closely with commercial leadership team and local peers to develop and implement Rosaluna’s ‘market specific’ annual operating plan inclusive of distribution and volume targets along with associated activation calendar.
  • Building brand engagement with the trade, in both On-Premise and Off-Premise channels
  • Serve as key point of contact for high-visibility accounts: lead customer-facing, consultative selling, trade engagement & education initiatives, and customized consumer activations. 
  • Direct market programming and performance tracking, with data-driven rigor. 
  • Invest in a disciplined sales process and dedicated approach to fostering strategic relationships with highly targeted outlets.
  • This position requires an ambitious spirit continuously identifying and acting on novel in-market opportunities to increase brand visibility, foster awareness, and drive results. 
  • Must be results-driven and detail-oriented; you own the market budgets and goals that contribute to company growth.
 Core responsibilities for the following:
  • Create and maintain relationships with key account stakeholders and local trade within account universe and geographic area: ·       
  • Maintain and grow Rosaluna’s key account On-Premise and Off-Premise universe in assigned geographic area. ·       
  • Execute local level plan, including Rosaluna’s strategic imperatives and KPIs. 
  • Work in collaboration with HQ to enhance Rosaluna’s strategic partnership network. 
  • Recruit and retain trade advocates as gatekeepers for Rosaluna in target accounts.
  • Execute experiential brand events designed to engage and convert target consumers while improving Rosaluna’s market share. ·   
  • Conduct brand trainings through effective storytelling and present the brand’s features and benefits. 
  • Ensure allocation of local resources applied against market priorities and key accounts. 
  • Monitor and provides monthly detailed recaps of all activities and programs. 
  • Maintain broad awareness of industry, channel, and category trends. Identify and act on new opportunities in market for Rosaluna growth opportunities. 
  • Work with Distributor partners to sell and execute Rosaluna’s annual plan in assigned market:
  • Function as the main day-to-day point of contact for our distributor partner. Support local market-level planning and execution with distributors and track performance. 
  • Ensure appropriate balance between on-trade, off-trade (Chains and non-Chains) resourcing, allocations, and growth plans. 
  • Effectively utilize data to meet market goals as well as track distributor progress made on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. 
  • Align with distributor partner on target account list and segmentation. 
  • Provide sales enablement support through selling stories and localizing selling materials. 
  • Work with distributors to ensure timely and accurate POS procurement, planning and distribution from HQ to distributors and to key accounts. 
  • Conduct consistent ‘work with’ cadence with distributor sales team. 
  • Uphold responsibility for key administrative, financial, and operational tasks, including:       
  • Manage A&P budget strategically to achieve targeted growth ambition.      
  • Manage T&E budget tracker to map fiscal year budget progress monthly.        
  • Devise smart and measurable programs that remain within Rosaluna standards & guidelines. 
  • Management of POS materials and preparation of POS orders in-time with POS cycles. Support selling essentials for distributor meetings and work-withs. 
  • Tracking of key customer and distributor meetings and deadlines for quarterly / annual plans. Overseeing tracking of activation-oriented budgets and spend within limits.
 Job Requirements:
The role requires an initiative-taking self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence others. Individual must have a strong ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion, charisma, and enthusiasm. Self-disciplined and flexible initiative-taker, with confidence and drive to work independently and meet all project deadlines, including frequently working outside normal business hours. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, including the experience and ability to present in front of both large and small audiences at any level. The role requires the incumbent to be data driven and analytically savvy.
  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience / Background:   Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in relevant sales capacity, preferably in alcohol beverage or consumer goods industry.
  • Travel: This position may travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Able to work evenings and weekends as required by account universe.
