Rise & Puff is a fast-growing food company selling better for you tortillas and quesadillas. We are looking for a go getters who will drive around and visit stores to properly merchandise, display and set up our products. This person will make sure our product is launched and continue to be merchandise properly. You will interact with store managers and personnel. You can’t be afraid to get your hands dirty as you will often have to pull inventory from the freezer, rip open boxes, set up racks and put up shelf tags. You will directly impact sales as we see highest sales when product is set up and merchandised properly. You also will have the opportunity to sell the product into independent natural specialty retailers. As we are a fast-growing company, there will be opportunities for growth as the company expands.

 

 

Requirements

·      1-2 Years previous field experience merchandising product in supermarket retail. 

·      High degree of responsibility and dependability as you will be most of the time traveling from store to store. 

·      Strong communication skills to speak intelligently to store managers and staff. 

·      Friendly outgoing personality as you will be a face of the company

·      Strong endurance as it takes a lot of physical energy visiting 20+ stores a day. 

·      Can do attitude as you will encounter roadblocks with product placement with staff, inventory and store management. 

·      Must be organized. You will plan store routing, take notes of store visits & maintain photos of category sets (fix: missing racks, pricing, tags, inventory)

·      Outgoing personality to communicate with consumers, employees and management to effectively tell and sell our story. 

·      Prior experience running a DSD or direct store delivery route would be a plus. You will have to carry inventory of racks, stickers and product. 

·      Prior sales experience to supermarkets would be a plus. 

·      Must have your own car and willing to drive long distances throughout Northern California and possibly beyond. 

·      Position will be based in Northern California where company is headquartered. .
