In this role, you will
- Support vendor processing of daily benefits transactions, including life events, enrollments, documentation submissions, terminations, and beneficiary updates, ensuring compliance with Company Plan Documents, ERISA, and HIPAA regulations.
- Research and respond promptly and accurately to inquiries and issues from associates, HR leadership, payroll, and vendors regarding benefit plans, associate/dependent elections or deductions and RNDC benefits processes through various communication channels.
- Ensure accurate benefit records in HCM systems through regular audits and updates, and document processes and workflows in collaboration with management.
- Assist associates during open enrollment by addressing questions, testing HCM system setups, and auditing data and deductions in the first paycheck of the year.
- Manage the WBU! wellness program by supporting associates, communicating program details, liaising with vendors, and auditing wellness participation and surcharge data.
- Work with vendors to research and resolve integration errors/issues, ensuring timely resolution and updates of data in RNDC systems and vendor systems.
- Create and pay monthly benefit invoices and provide census reporting to the RNDC Benefits Broker as needed.
What you bring to RNDC
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- 1 to 3 years of experience working with employee benefit plans.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and support to associates.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and partner with various departments to meet company objectives.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and managing multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to present facts and recommendations clearly in both oral and written formats.
- Strong analytical abilities and comprehensive knowledge of employee benefit plans.
- Proficiency in HRIS/Workforce Management Systems, SAP, Benefit Focus, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, ensuring a stable internet connection for accessing sensitive information.
