Summary

The Account Specialist, Inside Sales, will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts in the beverage alcohol industry. You will be responsible for executing annual business plans to drive sales, expand market share, and maximize revenue opportunities. Your primary objective will be to serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, understanding their needs and providing personalized support to enhance customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will
  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and providing tailored support to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who understands their business, consumer base, and strategic goals.
  • Drive sales growth by effectively promoting the company's products and services, leveraging comprehensive product knowledge and insights into customer preferences.
  • Conduct product presentations, tastings, and training sessions to educate customers on product features and benefits, fostering increased product adoption and sales.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within assigned accounts, including upselling and cross-selling initiatives to expand revenue streams.
  • Coordinate and deliver product education and training to customers and their teams, enhancing their understanding and engagement with the company's offerings.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to stay informed on industry developments and inform strategic decisions.
  • Participate in industry and company events to network, build relationships, and remain engaged with both internal and external stakeholders.

What you bring to RNDC
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of successful sales, account management, or business development experience in the beverage industry, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficient in modern algebra and converting performance data into actionable insights.
  • Skilled in quickly analyzing cost, margin, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, with the ability to learn additional MS Office tools and RNDC systems (e.g., Microstrategy, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time and support field accounts within an assigned territory.
