Offshoot Brands, a rapidly growing and innovative company in the natural foods/produce industry, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Director of Sales to join our team! Offshoot Brands is focused on promoting the well-being of consumers and is partnered with innovative and plant-forward healthy lifestyle brands around the globe, including Love Beets, Genuine Coconut, and Veggie Confetti. We are a fun and upbeat company, and we pride ourselves on our team-player mentality. We are seeking candidates residing in the Northeastern part of the US.
Responsibilities
· Develop new sales opportunities across channels (Club, Grocery, Natural, E-commerce, Foodservice & Industrial) as an individual and as a sales team to meet company annual goals.
· Research, identify, qualify, and develop large new transformational opportunities with new target prospects.
· Build, guide, train and enable the sales team, and our broker/distributor network, to be successful.
· Develop an annual sales and marketing plan in support of the organization’s strategy and objectives.
· Work closely with Marketing to ensure a coordinated approach to the consumer and the customer, supporting sales plan objectives and meeting organizational expenditure requirements.
· Optimize distribution, shelf management, pricing, and promotional objectives.
· Manage sales, promotions, pricing strategy and category management initiatives using data to support decisions.
· Working with our key internal and external stakeholders, align on and execute against Key Performance Indicators.
· Provide accurate and detailed, regular communications, pipeline, volume, and financial forecast of identified and proposed opportunities.
· Work closely with the Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) goals at the lowest possible delivered cost.
· Develop, maintain, and manage executive client relationships to gain strategic positioning with decision makers.
Leadership / People Management
· Serve as Sales Team leader.
· Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent necessary to achieve Offshoot Brands vision and goals.
· Drive training of best practices across sales disciplines.
· Participate in company leadership team, setting company direction and strategic planning.

Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent number of years of experience.
- Five years of related experience with progressive management experience.
- Preferred candidates will have previous experience in a produce related capacity.
- Proven ability to develop sales strategy and manage sales staff.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to create and give presentations to customers, management, and board.
- Excellence in report preparation and data analysis work.
- Knowledge of CRM systems.
- Ability to travel.
