The Ketel One District Manager is responsible for building brand advocacy and supporting the achievement of Ketel One activation, distribution and performance in the Puerto Rico market. Inherent in this responsibility is developing and maintaining distributor and DIAGEO relationships as well as major customer and gatekeeper relationships. The Ketel One District Manager will call on and activate key On-Trade accounts and be held accountable to key performance indicators (KPI’s) with a focus on key brand programming, menu execution, trade advocacy, gatekeeper education, consultancy, market intelligence and program quality management to help drive Rate-of-Sale. They will work closely and collaboratively with distributor and DIAGEO personnel, embedding themselves within the local market teams to achieve overall market objectives.

• Support Ketel One activity at On-Premise account level within budget and legal/regulatory compliance: approximately 80% time spent in field and 20% spent in office conducting administrative and planning duties
• Multiply through distributor and DIAGEO by supporting focused implementation of Ketel One programming in market
• Participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews with distributor and DIAGEO teams
• Conduct educational seminars and tastings at the account level to educate retailers, gatekeepers and consumers
• Constantly train and develop distributor personnel on the Ketel One brand philosophy and execution standards
• Consistently build and maintain proper customer relationships
• Maintain constant communication with distributor and DIAGEO personnel on KPI’s, target account lists, activity, market objectives and expectations
• Regularly survey the market to ensure that distribution, POS, programs and menus are executed to standard
• Activation quality management – implement and oversee brand programs and events to engage consumers and trade
• Establish and cultivate strong relationships with targeted gatekeepers and the Diageo World Class program
• Prepare weekly reports and tracking of target accounts, KPI’s, activity log, expenses, budgets and recap sheets
• Manage and stay within all assigned budget allocations and track incurred expenses
• Adhere to all federal liquor regulations and local state laws

Job Requirements
• Minimum 3 years work experience in the on and off premise, distributor experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
