Role Overview
The Director of Business Development will play a crucial role in growing our agency by identifying and securing new clients, expanding our presence into new markets, and fostering strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role requires a strategic thinker with a strong network, sales acumen, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development (70%)

Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals. - Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with company goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brands, agencies, and industry partners.
- Expand our agency services into new markets, identifying emerging opportunities and trends.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and progress.
- Manage inbound and proactive pitch opportunities, including RFIs and RFPs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and case studies.
- Represent New Ground Promotions Corp. at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
Marketing & Branding (30%)

Work with leadership to refine our brand positioning and go-to-market strategy. - Develop marketing materials, sales decks, and content to promote our agency’s capabilities.
- Oversee agency marketing initiatives across digital channels, including website, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Coordinate speaking engagements, panel discussions, and thought leadership opportunities.
- Assist in managing and optimizing the agency’s presence at industry events and sponsorship opportunities.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within an agency setting, experiential marketing, media, or related industry. - Proven track record of successfully securing and closing new business deals.
- Strong network of industry contacts across brands, agencies, and corporate partners.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience developing and executing sales strategies to expand into new markets.
- Ability to analyze industry trends and translate insights into business opportunities.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track and manage pipeline.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities (approximately 15-20%).
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience. - Commission structure based on new business secured.
