Senior Systems Administrator
This position is responsible for supporting an enterprise IT environment to enable company-wide IT applications, solutions, and initiatives across multiple production sites in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Starting Salary Range: $85,000 - $102,000

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, operating systems (Linux, Windows), virtualization technologies (VMware), and network infrastructure including industrial controls environments.
- Oversee system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize system uptime and efficiency.
- Develop and implement IT security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems from threats.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system administrators and internal teams.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Participate in on-call rotation for system emergencies.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Azure, VMware) are a plus.
Education/ Experience/Skills:
- Senior level position requiring the ability to complete the most difficult systems administration tasks independently and serve as a technical expert for escalation of system administration and enterprise application issues.
- Bachelors degree plus 5+ years of related work experience.
- Advanced and comprehensive knowledge of server, networking, storage and infrastructure-related systems, concepts, procedures, tools and applications
