Senior Systems Administrator

This position is responsible for supporting an enterprise IT environment to enable company-wide IT applications, solutions, and initiatives across multiple production sites in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems.
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware, operating systems (Linux, Windows), virtualization technologies (VMware), and network infrastructure including industrial controls environments.
  • Oversee system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize system uptime and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement IT security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems from threats.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system administrators and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for system emergencies.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Azure, VMware) are a plus.

Education/ Experience/Skills:
  • Senior level position requiring the ability to complete the most difficult systems administration tasks independently and serve as a technical expert for escalation of system administration and enterprise application issues.
  • Bachelors degree plus 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Advanced and comprehensive knowledge of server, networking, storage and infrastructure-related systems, concepts, procedures, tools and applications
  • Diverse technical skillset
  • Superior technical aptitude

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell's and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Salary Range: $85,000 - $102,000
