The Manager, Strategy & Business Planning supports the development of the Champagne & Sparkling business roadmap to achieve the MHUSA 2030 strategy. This role works closely with the Sr. Director of Strategy & Business Planning to develop and implement strategies and action plans for forecasting, planning, and pricing as well as identifying business growth opportunities, including underrepresented business segments through analysis of data and KPI's.Job responsibilities

Analysis & Presentation:
  • Contribute to brands' strategy and solve critical business challenges by conducting quantitative business analysis covering a variety of topics including sales, market trends, competition, pricing, and consumer behavior.
  • Conduct in-depth monthly brand performance analysis with the C&S Analyst to create fact-based recommendations and action plans to support all MBR, QBR and Maison presentations
  • Develop and monitor monthly C&S brand performance and provide C&S marketing team with detailed monthly analysis of the brand performance, outlining issues and opportunities.
  • Lead all champagne analysis and reporting with the C&S Analyst, deriving valuable insights and outlining opportunities for the brands
  • Partner with Brand Team / Commercial Team / Data Science team on identifying areas of opportunities for portfolio
  • Support the team in creating exciting and compelling presentations for senior leadership with clear insights and actionable next steps (Business reviews, Maison presentations, ...)
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of each brand's business in the US: PnLs, historical, current and future volumes, specific channel and market focuses
  • Support in the planning process with Maison, Trade Marketing, Regions and National Accounts.

Supply & Allocations Management
  • Partner with Brand, Commercial, & Ops team to plan full year allocations across key functions based on strategic objectives (Brand, Regions, Private Client, e-business, etc)
  • Manage day-to-day supply allocations to avoid OOS and increase profitability
  • Manage product assortment and pricing filing in the markets, ensuring timely and accurate product set up
  • Day to day management of allocations of all Prestige SKUs, to prevent OOS and prioritize strategic markets
  • Participate [and ultimately be the lead] in Supply & Operations meeting, having clear understanding of forecasting and inventory management for each brand

Organization:
  • Become a respected player within MHUSA and work closely with Brand Teams, Business Intelligence, Commercial Management, Operations and Finance
  • Work effectively in US Market / Global Maison / Commercial Regional team matrix organization
Profile

Bachelor's degree required; Master's or MBA preferred.

Professional Experience

5-7 years of experience in business analysis, finance, business intelligence, or corporate strategy with a strong understanding of brand marketing, preferably in a luxury environment.

Practical/Technical Knowledge
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretative skills with the ability to communicate findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clear recommendations to key team members
  • Extraordinary collaborator, who proactively partners across teams, and able to influence senior partners
