The Sr. Manager, Data Product Management is a leadership role with a blend of both strategic and operational responsibilities. The vision of the role is to become a driving force behind sustainable business growth by identifying, capitalizing on, and executing market opportunities. We aim to empower and support our sales teams with the tools, strategies, and insights they need to succeed.
As a strategic leader with operational experience, this role's primary responsibilities include building reporting analytical frameworks while preparing MHUSA for the next stage of its data transformation journey. The role is a cross-functional role working with multiple internal as well as external stakeholder teams to achieve successful business outcomes. This role leads best practice data product development that supports MHUSA's continued commitment to leveraging data & analytics in all business decision making. The focus of this role is dedicated to Sales Maximization initiatives acting as Data Owner and key liaison with other resources in IT, Commercial, or the Center of Excellence (COE).

Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
Professional Experience & Skills:
•8+ years of data experience in a packaged goods environment, building, deploying, and activating data products in service of business outcomes; global experience preferred.
•Experience with the following tools are required: GCP, PowerBI.
•Experience with the following market suppliers and technologies preferred: AWS, Azure, Databricks, BigQuery, Tableau, Dataiku, Data Robot, Alteryx
•Wines and spirits experience in the U.S. three-tier system preferred.

- Continue to Build out Tools, Reporting, and Analytics Required to support Commercial Performance Ecosystem
- Partner with COE and extended Commercial Team on incorporating and prioritizing Commercial business rules, product needs, and business objectives into the broader MHUSA Data and Product Strategy.
- Manage Commercial Data Products to enable sales teams to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Own visibility and evaluation of commercial project roadmaps against business potential vs. level of effort.
- Work with Data Steering Committee to prioritize competing needs to ensure focused effort on projects with maximum business value
- Own operationalization of Commercial data products within MHUSA with the objectives of embedding and increasing adoption and usage.
- Partner with other members of commercial strategy team to create training agenda for Commercial reporting tools and frameworks.
- Be the lead on data management for commercial reporting tools including data quality, usage and access, adoption and storge.
Data Operations, Stewardship and Leadership: 20%
- Be the liaison with IT, Commercial, COE and 3rd
- Maintain Knowledge Library of Commercials Insights in partnership with CCIS COE
- Partner with IT to educate on the Commercial Data assets and analytical platforms to the entire MH community
- Lead continuous optimization of Commercial Data assets, finding synergy across datasets and data projects to maximize business value and efficiency
- Partner with COE, internal Data Owners and IT to: develop standards for data ingestion and drive conversations with 3rd party data owners to ensure data pipelines are addressed for long-term utility.
- Contribute to data transformation journey for MHUSA, educating and influencing other business stakeholders to adopt data best practices.
- Continuously staying up-to-date with latest advances in the data technology and practices space and finding appropriate applications for MHUSA
Commercial Strategy: 15%
- Be an ambassador of Commercial analytics within the organization, influencing, educating and embedding to drive insights and resource allocation.
- Prepare strategic and issue-based presentations for senior management, internal and external business partners, and global stakeholders.
- Identify Opportunities and Market Growth/Profit pools to prioritize and focus all other commercial functions
