The Manager, Commercial Education is responsible for the delivery of best-in-class, scalable training, and education programs covering the full MHUSA portfolio of brands for Commercial teams and Distributor Partners. This role collaborates with MHUSA Trade Advocacy, Commercial and Brand teams, Ambassadors, Learning and Organizational Development, as well as various MH Global and LVMH teams to oversee the implementation, delivery, and measurement of scalable trainings and innovative initiatives to equip internal talents and distributor partners with critical skills, knowledge, and tools to deliver strong commercial performance and accelerate brand desirability in service of the company's 2030 ambitions.

Location: Atlanta or New YorkJob responsibilities

  • Serve as key education planning partner for assigned Commercial teams and Distributor Partners. Ensure implementation and execution of the national training calendar and plan local/regional learning opportunities based on current needs.
  • Partner with Commercial People leaders on sales development training programs to support onboarding and productivity of new hires; responsible for training employees and working closely with the MHUSA People Team to integrate curriculum into existing programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct field market visits to support sales and distributor teams in applying learned knowledge through coaching and real time feedback to increase sales performance and in market execution.
  • Manage a selling education strategy, and own the delivery of associated programs, that successfully enables MHUSA commercial teams, distributor partners, and the trade to sell MH's brand portfolio and enhance brand desirability.
  • Align education calendars to include a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that supports commercial goals and increases market effectiveness while advancing the capabilities and performance of the sales organization.
  • Manage sales education-related responsibilities, including facilitation; product and category management knowledge, and elevated execution guidelines; facilitation of live and digital programming; learning retention assessments; attendance tracking and reporting for internal and external programs.
  • Leverage understanding of market trends, customer needs, and business objectives to align and tailor enablement tools and education plans to MHUSA's most strategic priorities; ensure the approach meets current demands and anticipates future needs.
  • Use custom learning paths created for external stakeholders including distributors, MOA, and key trade across brand, selling, and commercial excellence assets on MH Academy to support sell in and sell through of commercial teams.
  • Works closely with Trade Advocacy, Brand Ambassadors, Field Sales Marketing, and Market Leads on effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills teaching storytelling and engagement strategies to deliver impactful education presentations and GSMs.
  • Leverage analytics to continuously measure and communicate the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives and make data-driven decisions to adjust strategies and plans to improve performance.
  • Support the Train the Trainer program ensuring Portfolio Education is consistent across all key partners that engage with Commercial teams and Distributor Partners.
  • Host Brand Home Immersion experiences for Commercial teams and Distributor Partners to elevate and accelerate portfolio knowledge.
  • Leverage analytics to continuously measure and communicate the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives and make data-driven decisions to adjust strategies and plans to improve performance.
Profile

Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience required
  • WSET or equivalent certifications preferred

Professional Experience
  • 5+ years of commercial experience and training facilitation. Luxury consumer goods industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in wines and spirits or hospitality a plus

Practical/Technical Knowledge
  • Commercial sales and 3-tier system understanding
  • Understanding of adult learning and development foundational principles
  • Mastery of presentation skills (crafting and delivering presentations) with aptitude for storytelling for sales
  • Understanding of luxury principles with a strong luxury lens
  • Finance and budget management skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work that drives results
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
