Role Purpose:

To ensure that all employees receive the necessary knowledge, skills, and training to perform their jobs effectively, safely, and in compliance with our standards and requirements. This involves developing and implementing comprehensive training programs tailored to the specific needs of the organization / site.

Accountabilities & Impact:
  • Develops and maintains training manuals or other documentation. Documents training, assesses effectiveness and progress, reports on progress, and makes changes to training as needed.
  • Integration of Best in Craft training system into lean management system at the work area and line level
  • Training front-line leaders on Technical and operational aspects of the manufacturing processes
  • Drives the Change management process for BiC training, ensuring successful implementation and adoption across all levels.
  • Ensuring consistency in implementation, providing governance to ensure program progression.

Skills & Experiences Needed:
  • 2-5 years of experience in supervisory or leadership role
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Technology proficient (Familiarity w/ specific technical & operational aspects of the manufacturing processes)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interpersonal and ability to relate
  • Adaptable
  • Attention to detail

Working conditions:
  • Fast-paced and constantly changing work environment.
  • Subject to extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/move 8-12 hours per day.
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs/ladders throughout shift.
  • Fine motor skills and dexterity for manipulation
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including (but not limited to) bump cap, safety steel toe shoes, safety glasses, dust masks or PAPRs.
  • Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
