The Senior Director, Consumer Connection is responsible for connecting the US consumer to our brand commercialization plans by leading and activating a strong functional strategy in the form of paid media, social media, influencers, public relations, loyalty, shopper marketing, and leading the internal creative agency. This role stretches across several key Marketing disciplines and is designed to be the expert and leader of core functional pillars that drive brand growth.

Leading a team of approximately 25 team members, this role will be based in Chicago, IL, and report to the Vice President, Marketing for Mark Anthony Brands Inc.

What you'll do:
  • Strategically allocate resources across specialized teams to ensure delivery of objectives as specified by the Brand Commercialization team.
  • Lead the commercialization efforts for paid media, shopper marketing, social media, PR, influencer relations, and loyalty programs in the US market.
  • Drive and execute a digital transformation strategy in collaboration with our Global Digital Center of Excellence team. Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to implement innovative digital, social, web, and loyalty initiatives that deliver impactful business results.
  • Develop and implement a tailored communication strategy for the US market that aligns with brand standards, effectively engaging consumers across paid media, consumer care, community management, social media, PR, and influencer channels.
  • Oversee the strategy, planning, and performance of all paid media campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and maximizing ROI through effective management and analysis.
  • Direct Shopper Marketing initiatives in compliance with global standards, including point-of-sale materials, in-store programming, key account initiatives, and e-commerce strategies.
  • Manage the in-house creative studio specializing in organic social content, internal communications, shopper marketing support, and fulfilling ad-hoc requests.

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree & 10+ years of progressive experience across multiple Marketing disciplines in Alc/Bev or FMCG/CPG with a majority in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience with paid media, social media, and leveraging non-traditional channels to engage consumers while maximizing ROI
  • Expertise in understanding of US consumers and cultural norms through community, influencer channel and PR
  • Proven leadership acumen in managing Direct Shopper Marketing and the in-house creative studio.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Proven ability to think creatively, coupled with a strong leadership acumen with the ability to inspire teams
  • Collaborative approach - works effectively across a complex organization with a team and firm-first orientation
  • Able to anticipate and diffuse roadblocks for the brand
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment
