Brand Development Manager (BDM)

Position Overview:

As a BDM for Levity Cannabis Spirit, you will drive sales, build trade relationships, and increase consumer awareness of our products. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will represent Levity in the market, foster relationships with Anheuser-Busch wholesalers, and educate retailers about our innovative offerings. Ultimately this position is to ensure Levity is the go-to cannabis beverage in the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 40+ account visits per week to develop and maintain trade relationships.
  • Train and motivate distributor reps on Levity products, focusing on Anheuser-Busch wholesalers.
  • Identify new opportunities for brand placement and consumer engagement.
  • Plan and execute events to drive product samplings and awareness.
  • Monitor market trends and provide actionable feedback to leadership.
  • Travel extensively within the territory (75%+ of the time).
  • Upsell current accounts to expand Levity product offerings.
  • Stay informed on regional hemp legislation and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and execute territory-specific plans to meet sales targets.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to define goals and objectives as well as measurable key results within the territory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of beverage sales experience, preferably within the Anheuser-Busch network.
  • Exceptional presentation and organizational skills.
  • A dynamic personality with a passion for innovation and building relationships.
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive results in the market.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. 
  • Ability to travel 75%+ of the time within assigned territory.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $55,000-$60,000 annual base salary.
  • 10 paid days off annually, plus 10 national holidays.
