Opportunity: Brand Manager – Gunpowder Irish Gin & Drumshanbo Irish Whiskey

Gunpowder Irish Gin is Palm Bay International’s flagship spirits brand, with Drumshanbo Irish Whiskey following closely as its rising counterpart. Since its launch in 2016, Gunpowder has experienced steady growth, achieving the #4 Ultra Gin spot with 64,000 cases sold last year. The brand’s sights are set on reaching #2 in the coming years. Known for its award-winning quality (Spirit Brand of the Year, 2022) and iconic cool blue bottle, Gunpowder thrives on organic growth, vibrant social engagement, and a loyal consumer base that loves gifting it.

In 2024, Palm Bay International (PBI) brought on a new VP of Marketing to take these brands to new heights and build a dynamic, high-performing team to support their growth.


Scope of the Role

As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive U.S. brand plans.
  • Leading 360-degree activations across all touchpoints, including a new consumer and trade communication platform.
  • Collaborating with sales teams and distributors (RNDC-aligned) to ensure consistent market impact.
This role is a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, requiring autonomy, agility, and a strong commercial focus.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a dynamic professional with:

  • 5–7 years of experience in the alcohol industry, with a focus on spirits branding at the ABM and BM levels.
  • Expertise in delivering 360-degree campaigns across consumer and trade platforms with minimal supervision.
  • An autonomous, agile, and scrappy approach to problem-solving and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work directly with sales teams and distributors in-market.
