What You’ll Do:
  • We are looking for a “can do” sales manager that is able to work in a fast paced, start-up environment where you will be responsible for multiple aspects of building a brand within your market.  
  • Best-in-Class Distributor and Retail Account Management
  • Invest daily to expand distribution, gain displays, and integrate POS materials to generate HOP WTR Brand awareness
  • Own your assigned territory to drive velocities and win at the point-of-purchase
  • Execute the HOP WTR key initiatives to meet our sales goals and stay within budget
  • Adjust HOP WTR sales tactics to fit the needs of your area and maximize growth potential
  • Manage inventory and Wholesaler POs
  • Coordinate/conduct demos each month and participate at trade events
  • Develop/improve timely field reporting of daily account activities

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University OR a similar amount of on-the-job experience
  • Start-up CPG company experience a plus
  • Experience as a beverage industry distributor or supplier a plus
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills 
  • A high degree of organization and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a competitive drive to win: an extreme degree of ownership
  • The adaptability and flexibility to succeed at an early stage company
  • Relationships with key DSD partners in the market area OR ability to quickly maximize relationships
  • Relationships with key chain and independent accounts in the market area
  • An ability to initiate and build relationships in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
  • Ability to travel regularly across the territory with a flexible schedule
  • Travel up to 50%+
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting (40-50lbs), standing and walking
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid car insurance

Key Relationships 
You’ll report to the Director of Sales - West and our VP of Sales. You’ll also work closely with our Marketing and Operations Teams.
