About the Role:

The Harmless Harvest Associate Brand Manager will be a key member of our Marketing team, who can adapt to new environments and teams and has the passion to work on a brand that will bring a positive impact to the world. This role will include managing high impact projects, including but not limited to marketing campaign planning, product renovation, line extension launches, brand design, enterprise strategies, and the day-to-day business activity (e.g., sales performance analysis, volume forecasting, budget management, etc.).

The ideal candidate will be analytical and strategic, able to turn data findings into strategically crafted stories to influence senior leaders. They will demonstrate leadership of their responsibilities and projects, acting pragmatically and influencing across the organization to deliver with excellence. They will be a growth-minded contributor who demonstrates grit and empathy, thinks and acts in a disciplined, yet disruptive way, and who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing:
  • Supporting in annual brand planning, acting as the voice of the consumer and advocate for the brand to deliver strong plans that grow the business
  • Identifying key trends and analyzing market opportunities.
  • Developing strong stories to sell in product ideas both internally and externally.
  • Serving as the "hub-of-the wheel" to drive Collaboration with cross functional teams to develop and execute multiple projects in parallel
  • Building effective trust and relationships with key internal and external partners.
  • Managing budget in close collaboration with finance and marketing team.
  • Partnering with Brand team and key cross-functional stakeholders to manage media campaigns and Integrated marketing execution, tracking, reporting and optimization.
  • Responsible for critical portfolio management projects (including but not limited to line extensions, packaging updates, and minor renovations) with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Serving as the voice of the business by leading data analytics and reporting efforts; performing consumer, customer, and competitive analysis; monitoring key performance metrics; and managing ad-hoc requests.
  • Contributing a strong POV on media strategies and consumer targeting to guide tactical planning efforts.

Requirements

What you'll bring:
  • 1-2 years of brand management experience required; CPG experience preferred
  • MBA an asset
  • Agility: ability to adapt quickly to different teams and Brand missions, driving for performance and providing business continuity
  • Flexibility: open to supporting various projects (of various size/scope, etc) and consistently changing focus area via short-term assignments
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven leadership capability
  • Collaborative team player, with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong business acumen
  • Results oriented and able to respond quickly to changing marketplace dynamics
  • Strategic influencing abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze / lead the business from a marketing and general management perspective
  • Strong MS PowerPoint and Excel skills

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000*

*The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors incluing but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, relevant certifications, department equity, traning and organizational needs. Base pay is just one liece of the total rewards program offered by Harmless Harvest which includes comprehensive perks and health benefits.
