has expanded into 26+ states. We are a from grain-to-glass distillery making our own whiskey,
bourbon, and other craft spirits in our Sweet Mash distillery, on our 325 acers of wooded
property. We have a passion and intentionality in our work, as our products continue to win
awards and gain notoriety, industry-wide. We are looking to grow our team.
 
The Hard Truth Field Sales Specialist (Missouri/Iowa) role supports sales efforts and drives sales volume within assigned territory (Missouri/Iowa). The key functions of this role include, but are not limited to: 

 Duties:
  • Cultivating and Maintaining Productive Relationships with Independent Retailers both Off/On Premise working towards KPI's and Sales Volume Goals 
  • Cultivating and Maintaining Productive Relationships with Distributor Representatives Throughout Assigned Territory to achieve KPI's and Sales Volume Goals 
  • Conducting Regular Market Work with Distributor Representatives to achieve KPI's and Sales Volume Goals 
  • Conducting Regular Independent Market Work across the Assigned Territory to achieve KPI's and Sales Volume Goals 
  • Supporting In-Market Programming at National Accounts and Retail Chains to achieve KPI's and Sales Volume Goals 
  • Presenting New Items and In-Market Programming to Retailers
  • Sharing New Item and In-Market Programming Information with Distributor Representatives
  • Executing In-Market Sell-Through Events including Product Demonstrations, Tastings, Community/Charity Events, Festivals, Tradeshows, and Other Events as Assigned
  • Developing In-Market Activations with On/Off Premise Retail Partners to achieve KPI's and Sales Volume Goals 
  • Surveying Hard Truth Brand Presence in the Market to Review and Improve Shelf Placement, Display Presence, Point of Sale Material, and Other In-Market Aesthetics as Assigned
 
  Skills/Experience:
  • 3+ years of work experience: food and beverage and/or adult beverage experience preferred. 
  • Must be 21+ in age.
  • Out-of-state travel can be required.
  • Must be available to work some evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Clean motor vehicle report and reliable transportation.
  • Must reside in territory.
  • Must have, or have the ability to obtain, a permit to serve and sell alcohol in the state of territory.
