We are looking for a Brand Ambassador inspired by our mission to change perceptions about vodka and redefine the category with Character Vodka. Our ideal candidate excels at the intersection of sales and marketing and has a deep passion for the hospitality industry.
To succeed in this field, being passionate about empowering and educating bar staff and fostering effective relationships and networks is crucial. Combining exceptional customer service with a results-driven work ethic is essential. Additionally, you should have a strong ethical foundation, excellent storytelling skills, and a solid understanding of spirits, cocktails, and the industry.
Position Summary:
As a Brand Ambassador for Golden Eagle Vodka, you will be the face of our brand. In this role, you will visit new accounts, generate new leads, and engage with existing accounts to enhance retention and activations. Your duties will include scheduling and coordinating activities and executing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales touchpoints. Additionally, you will facilitate staff training, tastings, and experiential events that improve brand visibility and engage consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Identify and visit high-value, unsold accounts to establish buyer leads and secure new points of distribution (PODs) for Golden Eagle Vodka.
- Account Retention: Conduct regular, high-impact visits to on- and off-premise accounts, fostering relationships with hospitality staff and decision-makers to strengthen brand advocacy and loyalty.
- Staff Training & Education: Lead engaging training sessions and tastings, equipping bartenders, servers, and retail staff with the knowledge and confidence to champion Golden Eagle Vodka.
- Consumer Engagement: Execute in-store tastings, activations, and consumer-facing events that increase brand awareness and trial among target consumers.
- Event Representation: Serve as the face of Golden Eagle Vodka at trade shows, industry events, and community engagements, building connections that enhance brand credibility and visibility.
- Marketing & Brand Alignment: Ensure all brand messaging and promotional activities align with Golden Eagle Vodka’s premium positioning and identity.
- CRM & Reporting: Accurately log all sales and promotional activities in the designated CRM (Karma), maintaining clear communication with the sales and marketing teams.
- Budget Management: Track account-related expenses, ensuring all costs align with budgetary guidelines and reporting requirements.

- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meets, and Chat) and CRM platforms to ensure seamless remote collaboration and activity tracking.
Required Qualifications:
- Lives in San Diego but is willing to travel as necessary.
- 3+ years in a promotional or brand ambassador role within the beverage industry or upscale hospitality (e.g., as a server, bartender, sommelier, beverage director, or GM).
- Demonstrated track record of successful event execution and consumer engagement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and travel as needed.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
This position demands frequent travel and flexible hours, including participation in trade shows, events, and on-premise brand advocacy initiatives. The role requires resilience in managing the physical demands associated with driving, event setups, and product presentations and promotions. Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Using hands for handling or feeling and reaching with arms; climbing or balancing on stairs or ladders; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and the ability to speak and hear effectively.
- Visual acuity requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving a vehicle and traveling via plane or train as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to work on a computer, drive, or walk for extended periods.

Hours, Compensation, & Benefits:
The Brand Ambassador position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22-$32 per hour, with opportunities for full-time positions upon successful integration into the role. Additionally, team members will have access to performance-based bonus plans, rewarding exceptional results and contributions. Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday, from 1 PM to 10 PM, including a one-hour break. However, hours may be adjusted to accommodate individual circumstances. Pay may vary based on local minimum wage laws, experience, skills, geographic location, and performance metrics.
