Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing company in the beverage industry, is seeking a Control State Manager to lead market performance and execution plans within control state markets. This role focuses on driving new item authorizations, optimizing in-market programs, managing budgets, and achieving distribution gains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage control state operational knowledge and prior experience
  • Analyze NABCA, IRI, and distributor depletions data to identify opportunities
  • Secure new item authorizations within state guidelines and timelines
  • Optimize pricing support budgets to boost sales during key periods
  • Build strong collaboration with brokers, distributors, and Region Managers
  • Develop and implement on-premise programs to expand presence
  • Provide consistent market insights and performance updates to leadership

Preferred Candidate Qualities
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years of experience in consumer goods; spirits and 3-tier distribution preferred
  • Proven track record of sales management and achieving goals
  • Strong relationships with distributors and key accounts
  • Located in Michigan (MI) or Pennsylvania (PA) preferred
