Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
o Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of monthly
financial reporting package and executive management summary.
o Prepare variance analysis comparing actual results to budgets, forecasts, and prior
periods.
o Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and present actionable insights to
plant management to drive financial efficiency and cost savings.
o Overall balance sheet ownership including month end close process and account
reconciliations.
o Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring
compliance.

Budgeting & Forecasting
o Lead the preparation of annual budgets and LE forecasts in collaboration with
department heads and plant management.
o Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term financial planning and
capital investment decisions.
o Track and report on capital expenditure projects.

Cost Accounting & Inventory Management
o Manage the plant’s cost accounting processes, including the analysis of production
costs, labor, materials, and overhead.
o Oversee all aspects of the annual standard cost setting process.
o Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the integrity of cost accounting
data and inventory valuations.
o Responsible for reporting and analysis of all production variances including bulk,
raw materials, and manufacturing costs.
o Responsible for accuracy and integrity of ERP master data including bulk, raw
materials and FCG.

Operational & Strategic Support
o Partner with plant management to provide financial insights that support decisionmaking and operational improvements.
o Evaluate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production
efficiency, quality, and cost control.
o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial and
operational performance.
• Compliance & Internal Controls:
o Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting and filing requirements (including
both USG and local).
o Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and internal controls related to
financial operations.

Team Leadership & Development
o Lead and develop the plant’s finance team, providing coaching and professional 
development opportunities.
o Team of 6 (3 direct reports and 3 indirect reports)
o Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Qualifications:
Education
o Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
o CPA or MBA is preferred.
Experience
o Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably
within a manufacturing environment.
o Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Skills & Competencies
o In-depth understanding of manufacturing operations and cost structures.
o Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably JDE.
o Advanced Excel skills.
o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams

Salary $140,000- 175,000. This annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range for this position. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within California and refers to the amount DFG Beverage is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
