The District Manager-Spirits position will ensure you have a strong presence in the Southern California California market and will work closely with the Regional Manager and Distillery to spread our story throughout the territories. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of building Copper Cane Spirits into a spirits leader and requires a motivational, entrepreneurial, and driven attitude. You will be the sales consultant, brand ambassador and educator for the best of the best in California Spirits.

- Work with Regional Manager to develop and execute strategic sales/distribution plans within the Southern California market to drive case and revenue growth, category share, and velocity
- Manage day-to-day relationship with distributor for On & Off Premise accounts with Southern California
- Conduct sales meetings, product presentations, train, develop, and motivate the Sales Team to foster the success of the overall Brand
- Expected to be in the field on average 4 days per week visiting key accounts, working with distributors, or independently calling on accounts
- Non-traditional hours including nights and weekends. (Weeknight and weekend events, trade shows, activations, and off-premise tastings)
- Establish and implement strategic programs to guide distribution, innovative launches, displays, feature ads, and retail promotions that produce effective presentation of brand
- Work closely with the activation resources to develop appropriate trade marketing programs
- Effectively utilize Copper Cane Spirits management systems that monitor and track sales performance on a regular basis (volume, activation, account retention, re-order rates, PODs)
- Allocate funds effectively and efficiently to get the best ROI for Copper Cane Spirits
- Maintain an in-depth and thorough knowledge of key accounts, marketplace, and market conditions
- Use facts to identify market opportunities; allocate the resources to capitalize on these opportunities
- Diagnose business issues quickly and takes corrective action to minimize the impact
- Responsibly and professionally represent the Copper Cane Spirits brand in the market
- Development and implementation of cocktail menus, barrel-aged cocktails, cocktail specials, and menu placements
- Work closely with strategic accounts to ensure programs are executed flawlessly in the marketplace
- Demonstrate understanding and deployment of long-term branding with short term sales results

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Knowledge of general spirits industry products/production as would normally be acquired through years of trades training and/or experience is preferred
Spirits/alcohol beverage industry knowledge/experience
A valid driver's license
Ability and willingness to work and travel non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
Ability to perform light physical work; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
Ability to move products, hang point of sale materials and fulfil other physical requirements including repetitive lifting, bending, and pulling/pushing
Conducts work in a sitting position; however, job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting
