GRAPHIC DESIGNER:

 

Cocktail Kingdom is hiring a Graphic Designer to support both production and design for all brands under Cocktail Kingdom, including our professional line of barware, and the Cocktail Kingdom Hospitality Group with cocktail bars located in New York City. 

 

This position calls for a versatile designer skilled in all areas of graphic design with an understanding of digital marketing, and has a strong sense of typography, illustration and brand identity. You will be working with the Creative Director and Art Director to develop content across multiple internal brands. In this role, you will develop new product concepts, create presentations to support marketing strategies, design collateral for our hospitality group and maintain supportive assets for our sales and marketing teams.

 

The day-to-day workflow includes marketing collateral for print and web, product concept design, product packaging, product photography retouching, digital mockups, menu design, signage, label design, merchandising, and trade show collateral.

 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

-   Concept development and design of branding systems; curating all assets to ensure consistent visual language including typography, iconography, and color palette; expanding on existing brand identity

-   Execute design for a variety of marketing initiatives including ads, newsletters, social media, and digital and print collateral

-   Develop new product concepts, including product sketches, packaging, dielines

-   Ability to create mood boards and provide direction for brand and concept development

-   Product photography retouching

-   Skilled in typography, editorial layouts and illustration for various applications

-   Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately that represent the company appropriately

 
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, ATTRIBUTES:

 

-   BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent

-   3-4+ years work experience in graphic design

-   Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud design suite

-   Familiar with MailChimp and Canva 

-   Strong sense of typography, branding and identity

-   Knowledge of print design, pre-production, mobile and web design

-   Excellent communication and presentation skills

-   Clean aesthetic, highly organized with attention to detail

-   Good at problem-solving and time management, able to meet deadlines

-   Creatively versatile and able to multi-task

-   Able to thrive independently but also work well collaboratively

-   Eager to keep relevant to design and industry trends

-   Strong knowledge in file specs across print and web platforms  

-   Illustration, photography and proficiency in 3D product design are a welcomed plus

 

SALARY RANGE

$65K-$75K
