Job Description

The Technician - Maintenance 2 is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient production of products by troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures. Perform preventative maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability and train team members on technical processes.

What your day will look like:

  • Supports the production team as the mechanical expert
  • Ensures production and support equipment are functioning properly
  • Performs preventative maintenance procedures
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions
  • Makes repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed
  • Performs basic electrical duties (replace motors, switches, PE, etc.)
  • Performs package change over on lines as required
  • Supports the team on all aspects of the operation
  • Trains team members on mechanical process
  • Focuses on continuous improvement
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards

What you need to succeed:

  • Good safety record
  • The ability to receive and follow instructions
  • The ability to work well and get along with other employees and/or customers
  • In the event of drivers, to have a good MVR
  • Must be able to pass the Company physical
  • Must have a neat appearance
  • Must have previous maintenance experience or apprentice training
  • Must have electrical knowledge
  • Must have the ability to figure out mechanical problems without close supervision
  • Must be familiar with mechanical, hydraulic, refrigeration, gas combustion and pneumatic systems
  • Must be able to pass a mechanical aptitude test
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position
  • Employees who have held a Maintenance Position for at least 90 days will have preference in qualifying for the position
