Job Description Overview:
As the Wholesale Account Manager (WAM), you will be responsible for achieving sales goals through exceptional customer service, relationship building and motivation to drive COAST product growth in your designated territory. This role reports directly to the Director of Wholesale and works closely with the Marketing Team to achieve our collective goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day business within the designated territory
- Maintain and grow account relationships and consistently exceed expectations
- Work with Director of Wholesale to generate new leads and grow market share within designated territory
- Execute the Annual Sales Plan as part of companies strategic objectives
- Work with the Marketing Team to ensure store-level programming aligns with company initiatives to drive sales and build brand awareness.
- Work with the Field Marketing Manager to ensure the pop-up schedule is accurate & delegated.
- Represent the Company with professionalism & honesty
- Provide detailed customer engagement data through CRM
- Update senior leadership on market trends as they relate to consumer demands and client purchasing
- Take on special projects as needed based on the needs of the company
Skills & Requirements:
- 3+ years relevant sales experience in CPG (Beverage Alcohol, Traditional CPG) - Experience in cannabis is a bonus
- Must be able to maintain and close sales deals and distribution deadlines
- Intermediate knowledge of both Microsoft Office and Google Suites with an emphasis on Excel/Sheets
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have reliable transportation & valid drivers license, on-the-job time is split 80/20 between road/office
- Must be able to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50lbs
- Must be extremely personally organized and able to manage a detailed schedule
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends on occasion
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to travel to corporate office located in Wareham, MA for meetings, trainings and company events as needed
- Some overnight/weekend work required for trade shows & events
- Must be able to make clear and efficient presentations to prospective accounts
