Role Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate basic competency in operations of craft bottling in compliance with all company policies. Examples of some of the duties to include barreling, packaging, QC testing, line set-up, sanitation.
  • Rotates positions of the operation on a prescribed basis.
  • Operate equipment as directed focusing on safety, quality, performance and customer interaction.
  • Provide tourists with an unforgettable experience by engaging and interacting as appropriate while still performing other job-related duties.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with desktop PC and software, with attention to details & accuracy. Become proficient with the SAP System, accurately executing process order transactions, receiving and shipping documentation.

Role Responsibilities Cont.
  • Operate pallet jack and forklifts, to safely move products in the department and to other areas of the plant as required.
  • Perform basic equipment PMs per established procedures.
  • Answer questions from our guests with fact-based information specific to the Jim Beam production process and heritage.
  • Ability to be certified for your department (if applicable)
  • Sanitation duties to keep working area clean and organized always for employees and tourists.
  • Safety is everyone's responsibility; identify risks and report violations, near misses, or injuries immediately.
  • Knowledge of GMP's, safety standards, quality standards and demonstrated ability to react and communicate effectively to issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pre-Employment Criteria
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Average to above average attendance and performance/safety records
  • Standard Timing Model: 30 minimum score
  • PI Predictive Index Survey - evaluates behavioral traits (if required)
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable)

  • Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and comprehend English with understanding as it relates to job tasks.

  • Must have ability to perform math functions.
  • Scattered shift work with flexibility for weekend and holiday work.

Physical Requirements

Be able to physically perform all aspects of the position. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Lift 35 lbs. on a constant basis and 50 lbs. on an occasional basis, from floor to shoulder height. When situations arise where you are required to lift more than 50 lbs., It is recommended you use any Company provided equipment that you are qualified to operate, or the lift should be performed by two employees.
  • Climb a minimum of two flights of stairs in succession.
  • Able to bend and stoop constantly.
  • Have acceptable (or corrected) visual acuity and depth perception. Have acceptable (or corrected) hearing.
  • Must be able to work in extremely hot, dusty conditions.
  • Ability to report to work and stay for duration of the day.
  • Must be able to pass the examination for a truck driver.
