About Suze:
Suze is a French iconic bitter aperitif launched in 1889 (at the same time as the Eiffel Tower) made from wild gentian roots. Through the last 134 years, Suze has always been a source of inspiration for bartenders, consumers, or artists alike such as Pablo Picasso, who portrayed a Suze bottle in a high-Cubist collage back in 1912! By 1920, Suze was one of the standard French aperitifs. It remains a landmark in France and French culture today. Suze was acquired by the Pernod company in 1965 and is now part of the Pernod Ricard group. Suze finally became available in the US market in 2012. BCI became the US importer of Suze in July 2021.
