This position is responsible for key account management (primarily), ticket management (secondarily), onsite hospitality (when needed), and quality of execution in sponsored suites and sections of our client’s sponsorships, as well as coordination of in-market activity. The beer brand’s business objective includes key accounts and event/entertainment complexes throughout Southern Florida with a priority focus in metro Miami and the Coral Gables area.

He / she / them must be a self-driven, independent worker with a passion for beer and knowledge of event management and operations. The right candidate has strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and partners.

Due to the nature of on and off-premise field work and live events, the work schedule requires nontraditional business hours, including evenings and weekends. 

Field Marketing Manager Roles and Responsibilities
  • Key Account Management: Manage & Coordinate Southern Florida target account relationships in-trade and consumer brand development.  
    • Assist in fielding & managing event, promotion, and/or merchandising request
    •  Flawless planning and execution of point-of-sale elements 
    • Build and install point-of-sale, signage, and other brand materials.
    • Execute on-premise and off-premise Consumer Samplings
    • Communicate effectively to consumers / educate them on the brand
    • Manage reconciliation of samples and bar spend at end of sampling  
    • Build and maintain trade relationships to promote brand growth 
  • Ticket Management & Reporting: Attention to detail, analytical ability, and sense of urgency is vital to effectively manage ticket allocation and redemption. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Weekly upkeep of CRM ticketing software and spreadsheets
    • Weekly status email to key stakeholders
    • Monthly recap to key stakeholders
    • Monthly expense reports with agency’s expense software.
  • Onsite hospitality: Must possess the ability to interpret issues and recommend solutions to ensure a seamless, best-in-class experience onsite for all event guests.
    • Ensure best-in-class experience for event guests through quality of execution of hospitality deliverables onsite including food and beverage service.
    • Greet and check-in event guests.
    • Create a pleasant and entertaining atmosphere for event guests.
    • Troubleshoot challenges and / or issues with event guest experience; escalate as needed.
    • Provide support to other events and / or venue suite or section team members.
    • Serve as an onsite Heineken USA representative working hand-in-hand with partnership and venue teams to fulfill marketing initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Passion for the beer industry with 5 years of experience in key account management, event sponsorship, experiential, and / or promotional activity
  • Familiarity with alcohol beverage marketing and best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
  • Must reside within metro Miami territory and have a reliable vehicle with clean motor vehicle record
  • Must be familiar with the beer industry and the distributors that operate in the assigned territory.
  • Must have good public speaking, record keeping, and business communication skills.
  • Requires basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite including in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Compensation package includes competitive base, healthcare contribution, auto or transportation allowance, and cell phone allowance.
