VP - US Distribution

The VP – US Distribution leads a high performing sales team and DSD network to own and drive business performance and distributor operational excellence. A successful candidate is a results-oriented strategic thinker capable of building and maintaining a high-trust and high-performing culture. This leader must have a strong background in Non-Alchohol Beverage DSD management and team leadership.
 
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads the US DSD network and the sales team managing our distributors
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of annual distributor plans and budgets
  • Manages and delivers volume and budget targets
  • Owns the process of accurate and timely sales forecasting for US business
  • Builds the appropriate playbooks, scorecards/metrics, and compliance tools to deliver best in class execution of in market activities
  • Develops and maintains relationships at senior levels in key distributors
  • Coaches, mentors and develops the sales team
  • Maintains strong internal collaboration to ensure alignment and execution of key initiatives
  • Oversees hiring, onboarding, and training of new hires to ensure successful integration
  • Fosters a spirit of teamwork and unity
  • Spends time with the team in key markets inspecting the business
  • Provides data expertise and leadership
     

Qualifications/Requirements:
 
  • 10+ years of supplier CPG experience
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Record of successful supervisory experience in DSD management
  • Regional, national or multi-state management experience
  • Experience securing and onboarding new distributor partners
  • High level of organization and enthusiasm
  • Skilled at presenting in front of groups and senior leadership
  • Strong background in budgeting, planning, sales, and data analysis
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel >50% of the time
  • A valid driver's license 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Compensation range $165-$185K DOE + Bonus, Benefits
