The Spirit Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting volume and distribution targets for a prestigious brand portfolio across both On-Premise and Off-Premise accounts in the New London/Norwich, CT locations.
In this fast-paced, high-growth industry, this individual will be an integral part of a collaborative team, working alongside sales colleagues to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth within assigned accounts, achieving market share expansion.
- Build brand awareness by leveraging consumer and category trends to educate customers, solve challenges, and maximize sales.
- Lead in-store selling efforts with distributors, overseeing merchandising, marketing, and execution at the account level.
- Achieve volume targets for priority brands within the portfolio.
- Plan and execute programs that drive distribution, merchandising, displays, and retail promotions.
- Cultivate strong, mutually beneficial relationships with assigned customers by understanding their needs and priorities.
- Act as the primary communication liaison between key customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
- Track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for key customers to ensure alignment with objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in field sales within the alcohol or CPG industries
- 1-3 years of relevant field sales experience within the alcohol or CPG sectors
- A valid driver’s license
- Flexibility and willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to conduct 8-10 account market visits per day
- Candidate must live in or near the designated territory
