On-Premise Account Manager - Chicago

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Key Account Manager, On-Premise has excellent presentation, communication, and management skills. You will be responsible for achieving on-premise sales and profit goals by building relationships with high-energy nightlife accounts and helping the distributor’s sales reps and merchandisers attain their objectives. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Achieve our sales, merchandising, and profit goals by helping the distributor attain their sales volume and profit objective on our products
  • Assist the distributor sales representatives and accounts in attaining their sales and distribution objectives on our brands by working with them and providing training support on our product line
  • Maintain a key account list and develop personal relationships with key buyers/owners and managers
  • Assist assigned accounts in attaining their sales and profit objectives by wait staff trainings, activations, and promotions
  • Conduct well-prepared and delivered sales meetings to the distributor sales force. 
  • Monitor inventory and proper use of POS material
  • Follow through on all commitments made to distributor management, sales personnel, and the trade
  • Review monthly account performance
  • Identify market trends and opportunities, and develop respective action plan

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Minimum 2 years field sales experience in the beverage industry 
  • Strong knowledge of the Chicago market & high volume on-premise channel
  • Existing relationships & experience calling on nightlife accounts
  • Strong business acumen, relationship management skills, customer focus, and drive for results
