How to Find Your Inner Genius with Performance Strategist Laura Garnett
Finding a fulfilling career is challenging. Doing so in a global health crisis can seem like an impossible feat.
As part of our Start It Sunday series, a professional development campaign designed to motivate you for the week ahead, we caught up with performance strategist and TedX speaker Laura Garnett. Author of “The Genius Habit,” Garnett works with CEOs and executives to help them identify their unique geniuses.
“The zone of genius is really comprised of two things: your genius and your purpose,” Garnett explains. “These two things are rooted in my research on the science of performance. And what I learned is that there are two critical things to grade individual performance: you must be challenged intellectually, and you must be fulfilled by the impact you’re having.”
She then uses this framework to help individuals achieve success in their careers.
Stay tuned for future episodes with Garnett as we answer some of your most pressing career questions as they relate to professional development. Email us your question here.
