About The Position
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for the creation of reports and materials and performing preliminary analysis of data to identify trends that will drive supplier and commercial business development.

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for the creation of reports and materials and performing preliminary analysis of data to identify trends that will drive supplier and commercial business development. This position will provide significant administrative support for the Vice President of Sales.   Duties include scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing expense reports, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. 

Responsibilities

  • Assists Sales and District Managers to create effective business proposals that enable improved program execution
  • Provide ad hoc reporting for sales teams.
  • Assists with performance tracking and management tools. May include integrating internal, syndicated and customer specific data. 
  • Prepares and submits monthly pricing files from Trade +, annual plan updates, and key program tracking.
  • Works with Trade Development to optimize the monthly execution tracking process (inputs) and reporting functionality (outputs).
  • Provide ad hoc reporting for sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years experience
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to master multiple sales reporting systems (examples: DSS, HANA/Business Intelligence, Nielsen).
  • High proficiency in MS Excel including v-lookups, sumif, countifs
  • Intermediate to advanced mastery of MS Powerpoint and MS Word.
  • High attention to detail required
  • Must be able to reconcile multiple databases to identify discrepancies.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Handle and maintain highly sensitive & confidential information.
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines and adapt in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to see projects to completion.
  • Ability to think critically, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
  • Accepts direction, coaching, and constructive feedback well.
  • Ability to quickly master the understanding of Business Analytics and understand the concepts.
