About The Position

We're a fast growing startup launching new products every week with a small team.  So, regardless of the points below the ideal person is versatile and willing to do a variety of tasks.  Great background is Purchasing Manager or Buyer for CPG brands.  

Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships.  
  • Manage and monitor inventory: place new POs for all components so we stay in stock, but be sure not to order too much which will tie up our money. 
  • Negotiate payment terms.
  • Source alternate vendors to improve payment terms and reduce costs.
  • Insure vendors are on time.  
Requirements:
  • Past experience monitoring inventory and forecasting 
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Outstanding communication 
  • Strong analytical background
