About The Position

Sole owner of 4 Grands Crus Classés in Bordeaux (Pape Clement, Fombrauge, La Tour Carnet, Clos Haut Peyraguey)
and 42 vineyards around the world (Côtes du Rhône, Provence, Languedoc, Roussillon, California, Chile, Spain, Portugal...),
is hiring for his development in the US Market an:

Eastern USA Sales Manager

The main responsibilites and duties are:

- Grands Crus Classés (according to Bordeaux's negociants) : 50% of the time
•           To visit with the negociants our main importers, distributors and retailers in eastern USA,
•           To build commercial offers with the negociants for all visited importers and distributors,
•           To organize stimulation operations with these distributors and their sales representative, in agreement with the negociants,
•           To organize tastings and wine dinners in local markets, and to attend trade shows, 

-Our wines from all around the world (excluding Grands Crus Classés) : 50% of the time
•           To increase the volume and turnover in this same geographical area through active prospecting and a very strong presence in the field,
•           To be very active within the three tier system by motivating our distributors and key accounts (on and off-trade, regional chains),
•           To report weekly to the management,
•           To send a regular and constructive benchmark to the management to improve our products,

Area to cover:
•           From Maine to Virginia, including New York, New Jersey, Massachussets, Delaware and Pennsylvania
•           The Sales Manager will be based (home office) in this area
•           He/she will spend one week in Bordeaux every 6 weeks in addition to the travels within the local area

Required skills:
•           Strong commercial background,
•           Fluent in English and French
•           Bachelor degree,
•           Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the same type of activity or geographical area,
•           Rigorous, very well organized and culture of results to be able to reach the objectives,
•           Excellent communication skills,
•           Good wine knowledge,

•           The Sales Manager will report to the USA & Europe Sales Director based in Bordeaux

Contract and compensation:
•           Full time contract to be signed as soon as possible
•           Significant salary + attractive bonus
