WHAT WE NEED
 
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across the Northeast and Midwest regions. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with key customers, and executing strategic initiatives to achieve revenue targets within the assigned regions. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Sales Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share for the portfolio of beverage brands.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and develop effective sales plans.
Territory Management:
  • Manage and expand the company's presence in the assigned region, including identifying new sales opportunities, developing customer relationships, and securing new business accounts.
  • Optimize territory coverage and distribution channels to ensure maximum market penetration and sales growth.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners to drive sales and promote brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, provide product education, and develop customized solutions to meet their requirements.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to the sales team to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, including sales volume, revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction, and take corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for management review, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and ensure effective execution of initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns, and provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; highly qualified and demonstrated CPG industry experience also welcome.
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the beverage industry or related consumer goods sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and drive results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a passion for driving business growth.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
  • Proficiency in Google suite and sales management software; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed
