The salary range for this role, based in Florida is $ 263,400.00 to $ 329,200.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The Division Vice President plays a critical leadership role in our mission to drive the success of our complete portfolio across our entire customer base.

In summary, the Division Vice President will oversee the development of Distributor-oriented regional business plans to grow the entire PRUSA portfolio and beat the market. This role leads a sizeable team accountable for collaborating with distributors to deliver, drive, and execute PRUSA's company strategy for the markets assigned, and it will maintain profitability and accountability of the P&L. Responsible for communicating and driving the execution of strategic imperatives, the Division Vice President will set the regional / division strategy across all brands and channels for the Company's complete portfolio, inclusive of spirits, wine, and champagne. This position is a key stakeholder on the Commercial Operating Leadership Team, effectively representing the voice, successes, and challenges of its respective area clusters. The territory this role is responsible for is the East of the US including the following states: FL, SC, NY, DE, KY, IL, MN, AR, WI.

This position reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. Reporting to the Division VP are the Division Business Director, as well as several Area Leads, who manage teams of state and market-level managers.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

- Lead overarching divisional strategy and business performance for designated region:

  • Set regional / division strategy across all brands and channels for PR USA's complete portfolio, inclusive of spirits, wine, and champagne.
  • Communicate and drive execution of strategic imperatives.
  • Create the annual operating plan for the Division, leading innovation launches in-market, and ensuring distributor partner compliance.
  • Manage the P&L and deliver topline and profit target, balancing across different parts of PR USA's portfolio; in coordination with Finance, drive accountability for ROI in all levels of the division.
  • Lead key transformational initiatives within division.
  • Ensure data-driven decision making in Region through the utilization of data dashboards and consistent communication.
  • Maintain the balance between Chains and non-Chains resourcing, allocations, and growth plans.
  • Regularly coordinate with Brand Marketing and ensure Divisional compliance with Brand Path to Purchase guidelines / Brand Standards.
  • Actively participate as member of the Commercial Operating Leadership Team, and provide regular updates to PR USA's Executive team.

  • - Lead distributor management and drive accountability for high performance of PR USA's portfolio of brands:

  • Cultivate and maintain key relationships with Executive stakeholders across the Distributor organization.
  • Drive and motivate distributor team to deliver PR USA targets with robust performance management.
  • - Advocate for PR USA portfolio needs and influences effective ways of working with distributors in assigned regions.
  • Assist in PR-Distributor Corporate discussions / ensure synergy across Divisions.
  • Review LMF usage appropriateness and resourcing tradeoffs to drive PR USA advantage.

  • - Manage overall budget / forecasting / pricing for division:

  • Manage region spending budgets and forecasts to ensure timely and accurate information is available for key executive decision making.
  • Manage division's structure costs.
  • Ensure compliance with brand pricing strategies through consistent interaction with RGM and Finance.
  • Drive forecasting accuracy and process in coordination with CPO, S&OP, Corporate Finance, and Area Leads / State Managers.

  • - Team leadership, coaching, and development:

  • Operate visibly in designated, supporting team in distributor and customer interactions, and conduct informal and formal market checks through ride-withs /visits.
  • Drive corporate culture of inclusivity, high accountability, and high performance at every level.
  • Set consistent performance standards to drive PR USA beating the market and promote the consistent use of management dashboards to drive business decisions and monitor compliance / progress against goals.
  • Increase performance impact through clear, strategically aligned objectives and key results (OKRs). Ensure OKRs are meaningfully and effectively prioritized and cascaded throughout the division.
  • Conduct quality performance huddles, occurring monthly, with direct reports that focus on goal planning and tracking, employee development, and two-way feedback.
  • Reinforce ethical operations across team to ensure operation within full legal compliance with state and local regulations.

  • Job Requirements

    The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm. Strong entrepreneurial ability to work around obstacles, results driven, and a bias for action with a pilot/learn/scale approach.

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent); MBA or advanced degree preferable.
  • Experience / Background: 20+ years of business experience, with experience in a senior level role in a Wine & Spirits or FMCG commercial role. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing iconic brands with rapid product life cycle management. Must have solid experience developing strategies from insight to execution. Must have experience in managing and partnering with a broad set of stakeholders in matrix organization as well as external partners. Must have experience managing financials and business performance including budget management. Ideal candidate will have previous commercial, brand and/or activation experience, along with innovation and/or co-packing management.
  • Travel: This position may travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Location: Ideally considering candidates located in South Florida. However open to consider NY and IL.
