Job Description

This role will be responsible for developing and supporting Owl’s Brew’s chain business, including but not limited to: establishing and maintaining key buyer relationships, developing materials; maintaining schedules around spring and fall sets; developing continuous programming and promotions to support regional accounts; independently calling on key accounts; and tracking execution on programs. This role will report to our East Coast Director and will liaise with our Territory Managers (TMs), and with wholesaler chain teams.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage & develop targeted regional chain accounts - both on and off premise.
  • Develop and execute programs, promotions, partnerships, and account support
  • Gain key package authorization, proper pricing, and shelf space within national and regional off-premise
  • Track execution on all programming and promotions
  • Assess market scan data to identify opportunities to expand the retail business
  • Develop & execute account presentations for spring and fall reset meetings
  • Prepare business reviews for trimester sales meetings with priority wholesaler chain teams
  • Work with TMs, and wholesaler chain managers to track execution, and to close gaps
  • Regular in-market work to evaluate the effectiveness of our plans and to identify competitive opportunities
  • Report to East Coast Director biweekly on chain performance and opportunities to further grow the business
  • Utilize resources including IRI, VIP and other software to recap retailers and/or Director of Sales
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years experience in Regional Accounts/Key Account Management/Chain
  • 3+ years experience in the beer or spirits industry
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficient in Excel, IRI, VIP, project management software, CRM software, Nielsens
  • Must be able to lift 50LB
