Marketing Associate
We are seeking a Marketing Associate to support the Brand Director in an e-commerce business. Experience and/or a passion for the cocktail / hospitality industry is key to success in this role. Qualifications
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities
· Strong understanding of popular social platforms and their functionality: including social content creation, editing, and distribution skills
· Design foundation and understanding of the principles of typography and layout, as well as photo and video editing
· Analytical skills for tracking social and digital metrics
· Understanding of Affiliate Marketing, and the ability to manage partners
· Self-motivation and initiative; impeccable time management, organization, and ability to prioritize multiple projects with short deadlines
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to work cross functionally with multiple departments
· Passionate about brand development and consistency of message and design
· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier), as well as the Google Workspace and cloud storage
· Hospitality or beverage industry experience in some capacity is ideal
Responsibilities
· Support Brand Director in maintaining and evolving social channel strategy
· Manage day-to-day development of social publishing including the creation and maintenance of the brand social programming calendar driven by Brand Director
· Copywriting: for social posts, messaging, reactive messaging, interacting, etc.
· Manage and maintain organized content system for new product photos and videos, as it pertains to social media calendar as well as digital distribution of content
· Under Brand Director guidance, seek out and manage affiliate marketing opportunities for publications and influencer personalities
· Closely collaborate with the Brand Director and Analytics point person to set up campaign KPIs, measure, monitor, and report on each social campaign, as well as longer-term trends for the brand and industry
· Support Brand Director on digital platform development and management such as: Amazon Storefront, website, etc.
· Assist in the creation of presentations for Brand Director and Sales Team, such as Product Sales Sheets
· Support Brand Director in coordinating monthly product photo/video shoots, as well as event related production
