Account Representative - Eastern MA

Cantrip, Inc. is a hemp and cannabis beverage manufacturing company. In partnership with manufacturing facilities, Cantrip produces flavorful, low-dose seltzers and other beverages for sale in the hemp and adult-use cannabis markets. We are the social seltzer, creating great-tasting cannabis beverage products for people to enjoy together. Cantrip is a fast-paced, growing start-up in the hemp and cannabis space.

The Account Representative will be responsible for day-to-day on-the-ground sales and marketing operations in the Eastern MA marketplace. With limited supervision, the Account Rep will be tasked with fostering and maintaining relationships, establishing new accounts, promoting Cantrip products, and being an ambassador of the brand. A successful Account Rep will have attention to detail, a welcoming presence, and a passion for creating meaningful relationships illustrated by implementing strategic partnerships and retailer/consumer engagement initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the COO to plan, establish, and exceed sales goals.
  • Keep up to date on in-market and out-of-market trends, with an eye toward competitors in the beverage category.
  • Relay pertinent information to the COO to help aid in the creation of a successful sales model.
  • Increase existing Retail Partners’ account unit velocity, establish new accounts as outlined by the sales plan, and train budtenders/consumers on the Cantrip suite of products.
  • Liaison with delivery logistics partners to ensure operationally efficient and compliant fulfillment of sales orders to Retail Partners, managing internal and external expectations.
  • Maintain and create KPI goals to track progress and effectively relay data points back to leadership.
  • Attend industry events within the region, with a focus on retail partnerships in mind.
  • Conduct any other sales or marketing operations by request.
Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or MBA Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in hemp, cannabis, or B2B beverage sales preferred.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity and aptitude with email, Microsoft Office, and printing software.
  • Detailed oriented and extremely organized.
  • A passion for products and/or cannabis products.
  • Strong communicator who can provide exceptional customer service and react quickly to identify and solve problems.
  • Must be able to pass a background check;
  • Must be 21+.
