Summary

The Production Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily operations of our kitchen and packaging to ensure quality and efficiency are met. They are responsible for employee schedules and properly setting up production plans to meet expectations.

The Production Supervisor will be able to work a flexible schedule, enjoy a fast-paced, growing company, in an ever-changing industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Must understand all stations and be able to prep, mix, cook, produce, deposit, pull, package, and store all facility consumables and products intended for sales or promotion
  • Accurately read, record and communicate all production data, counts, measurements and weights
  • Understand and be able to lead opening and closing duties
  • Train and supervise Production Support employees (including station rotation and techniques) to ensure quotas are met
  • Ensure proper storage of all facility consumables and products. Store food products in compliance with safety practices
  • Complete daily labor hour logs
  • Perform and monitor all aspects of Quality Control
  • Assist in planning and execution of required packaging and cooking with Production Manager to plan Production Support schedules efficiently
  • Provide assistance with the training and development of SOPs
  • Provide continuous process improvement of operations by enhancing existing procedures, developing new procedures, and making recommendations
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication amongst all staff
  • Maintain and comply with sanitation and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform visual quality inspections on products, minimize waste where possible.
  • Makes recommendations to management regarding personnel evaluation and training of the kitchen team
  • Assist the Production Manager as needed
  • Ensure a safe working environment. Review and communicate daily on all safety-related topics of discussion

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's or Culinary degree or related
  • Experience: At least 3 years of directly related experience and/or training in a food production or kitchen environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have experience and familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
  • Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency
  • Must have at least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Active Nevada Cannabis Production Agent Card is required. Food Handlers Card preferred
  • Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written
  • Travel Requirements: occasional travel required to other Wyld locations, events, expos, supplier evaluations, and fellow manufacturing facilities

Compensation

This position is full time 40 hours/week, $22-26/hr, overtime, PTO and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
